DEMOCRAT MATH

UNofficially Winslow has received a campaign mailer for the Winslow democrat team.
Which includes DePalma, Wright, Lawrence, & Flamini. UNofficially Winslow has explored some of the facts in this campaign mailer.

  • “…Streamline the Township budget…”

FACT: 2004 Winslow Township budget was $22,122,117.00.
FACT: 2005 Winslow Township budget is $24,751,800.00.
FACT: For an increase of: $2,629,683.00

Democrat math?

  • “Bringing public water to homes affected by Metec and Cedar Brook ground water contamination.”

FACT: The Metec matter has been an on going issue for 11 years and there is still no public water flowing to resolve this matter.

  • “Improved road safety throughout the Township, including intersections at Malaga and New Brooklyn Road, Route 73 and Fleming Pike, and Williamstown and Sicklerville Road.”

FACT: Each one of these road projects the democrats are taking credit for was
completed by Camden County. Notice they are all County roads!

  • “Brought public sewers to Albion and public water to West Atco...”

FACT: This was a bi-partisan unanimous decision.

  • “Added pedestrian crosswalks…”

FACT: This was a bi-partisan unanimous decision.

  • “Successfully fought to bring A.C. Moore corporate headquarters and distribution center to Winslow Township along with 450 new jobs.”

FACT: A.C. Moore consolidated three other distribution centers into this new facility. Employees who transferred from these other locations filled almost all of the 450 job positions. In general A.C. Moore was a very much welcome and
positive addition to Winslow Township. Hats off to Mr. Ed Austin,
a Winslow resident, who came forward with a newspaper clipping that,
Washington Township rejected the proposal from A.C. Moore.

  • “Provided sidewalks in Elmtowne, Cooper Folly Road, Chews Landing Road..."

FACT: Two of the three sidewalk projects noted were paid for with State of New
Jersey grants.

  • Constructing new soccer fields with stadium lights at Peter Volpa Park, new fields and softball lights at Calabrese Park, and football stadium lights…”

FACT: No football lights, no Soccer fields started, and the lights at Calabrese
Park are at no cost to the Township. How dare the democrats take credit for
these lights when they were won by the Little League organization through a
safety program.

Are there any true facts about the Winslow democrats? Sure there are, but they are not on this campaign mailer. Such as selling Township owned open space land to developers to build more homes. Developers who contributed to their previous campaigns. Now Wright wants a new tax in Winslow so the democrats can buy more land. For what? So they can sell it to their supporters again at below market values?
